MARS has mitigation projects all over the state with unique volunteer opportunities at different sites. Our current need for volunteers is at the Fox Creek Tributary Restoration Project near Sidney, Montana. On April 26th and 27th, we will be planting 952 native woody shrubs and sowing native grass seed to help restore a native ecosystem and stabilize bank erosion.
We are also currently searching for two new board members. If you have a passion for nature, want to make a tangible difference, and would like to get involved with a nonprofit organization on a mission to preserve aquatic resources, consider joining our board! We are seeking candidates with strong financial and accounting skills and candidates with a background in marketing and graphic design.

Thank you for considering MARS as you search for ways to improve your community!
